USA Weightlifting - Kill Cliff

USA Weightlifting

USA Weightlifting, also known as USAW, is a non-profit organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee and the International Weightlifting Federation as the governing body for the sport of weightlifting in the United States.

Kill Cliff is a proud partner of the membership-based organization that promotes the culture of weightlifting and provides opportunities for athletes and coaches to participate in the sport through clubs, events, and education. Members of USAW include athletes of all ages and abilities, coaches, and volunteers.

45 states have a Local Weightlifting Committee, which develops regional athletes through programs and holding competitions. USAW hosts five National Championships in all age groups, giving a chance for athletes around the nation to compete against each other. The top competitors are selected to compete in major international events.

C.J. Cummings and Mattie Rogers are both USAW superstars and Kill Cliff Badassadors. Cummings, still a teenager, recently broke the American Snatch record (143kg). Rogers won Team USA’s first Women’s Weightlifting World Medal in twelve years.
